Truly enjoyed its incredibly welcoming staff.
everything was simply wonderful. we had a delightful 1 night stay. the room was spacious with a huge balcony, the bed was exceptionally comfortable. the location was great and fantastic, at a medium distance from papadiamantis' house. plus the hotel was minutes from restaurants and bars.

All in all everything was great, had a SUCH GREAT stay in winter. The rooms themselves were spotlessly clean with a view. The hotel was in a central setting on a mountain. I went to nearby To Palouki and tried their local food.

We had a fantastic stay at this welcoming hotel. Mato is a true home away from home, filled with fascinating objects and paintings. Fofi, the landlady, is a bright and helpful hostess who made us feel well protected and gave us lots of tips about the island. The hotel is situated in a quiet and picturesque area, away from the noisy tourist activities. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a large balcony offering beautiful sea views. The location is perfect, just minutes away from restaurants and shops. it was a wonderful vacation and we can't recommend this hotel enough.
